Return Policy

At Thrifty Cavern, every item has a story. Most of what we carry are second-hand treasures or one-of-a-kind finds, carefully sourced and thoughtfully shared. Because each piece is unique and often irreplaceable, all items are considered final sale unless otherwise stated.

We take great care to inspect, document, and photograph every item, noting condition, wear, and character so you know exactly what you’re purchasing. Please review all photos, descriptions, and measurements carefully before placing your order. Once a purchase is made, it cannot be canceled due to fit, preference, or change of mind.


Final Sale Means Final

Due to the nature of our inventory, we do not accept returns or exchanges for no-fault reasons, including but not limited to:

  • Fit or sizing issues

  • Color differences

  • Style or preference changes

  • Accidental or mistaken purchases

Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or returned for these reasons.


Item Not As Described

While we do our very best, we understand that on rare occasions something may be missed.

If you believe your item is materially different from the description provided, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

To be considered, your email must include:

  • Your order number

  • A clear explanation of the concern

  • Photos supporting your claim

Requests submitted after 14 days from delivery will not be reviewed, and no exceptions will be made. After 14 days, all sales are final.


Approved Claims & Shipping

If a claim is approved, we will provide next steps.
Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable.


Refund Outcomes

If a return or claim is approved, the resolution will be determined by Thrifty Cavern based on the nature of the issue and the condition of the item.

Possible resolutions may include:

  • Full refund (issued to the original payment method)

  • Partial refund

  • Store credit

  • Return with buyer-paid shipping, if applicable


Item Not As Described

If an item is confirmed to be materially not as described, a full refund will be issued once the matter is reviewed and resolved.


Unsubstantiated or Denied Claims

If, after review, a claim is determined to be not consistent with the item’s original description or documented condition, Thrifty Cavern reserves the right to:

  • Issue a partial refund

  • Offer store credit in place of a refund

  • Require buyer-paid return shipping, if a return is authorized

  • Deny the claim entirely

All determinations are final.


Before You Buy
